Our very special guest instructor: "My dad is 93 years old. He's been making this hot fudge sauce since I was a little girl. This June, he'll be coming to Captain's to show you how in person."
June is Dairy Month in Wisconsin — and we can't think of a better way to celebrate than an evening of two homemade treats: a rich hot fudge ice cream sauce drizzled over scoops of Sassy Cow ice cream, and cacao frappés that will completely change what you think a chocolate drink can be.
We'll start with a chocolate tasting — hand-molded chips in different cacao percentages straight from our small-batch Costa Rican chocolate. You'll find your favorite before we ever touch a recipe.
Then my dad takes over. He'll walk you through his hot fudge sauce — the same one he made on summer nights when I was growing up. You'll make your own batch to take home.
First reward of the night: a scoop of Sassy Cow ice cream with the hot fudge sauce you just made, warm from the pot. Then we'll move on to frappés — we'll be making three flavors, Try one, try all three. No judgment here.
No baking. No stress. Just three generations of chocolate knowledge, a scoop of Sassy Cow, and a summer evening that's all yours.
Come with friends, a date, or fly solo — either way you're sure to have a great time.
Space is limited. Reserve your spot today.
We start shopping and prepping for you 3 days out — so while we'd hate for you to miss it, tickets are non-refundable after that point. Can't make it? Send a friend in your place and we'll take great care of them!
