🇹🇿 Mt. Meru Coffee Project buys their Peaberry coffee directly from farmers on the slopes of a volcano in Tanzania.
Two farmers. Two yeses.
A Tanzanian farmer once asked, "We grow coffee. You drink coffee. Will you buy our coffee?" Wisconsin said yes. In Costa Rica, a cacao farmer asked us almost the same thing, and we said yes too.
Why Peaberry?
Most coffee cherries hold two flat beans. A Peaberry is the rare one: a single, round bean. That little round shape is made for a chocolate coat.
