Kids in the Kitchen: Captain's Junior Chocolatiers Chocolate Artists & Shake Makers

On July 21st, Captain's Chocolate is opening its doors for one day of pure chocolatey creativity. Whether you're a Mom, Dad, Grandma, or a favorite aunt — this is the kind of event that will make you the hero and kids talk about for weeks afterward.
Every child starts with a complimentary tasting of our hand-molded chocolate chips and the story behind them — grown by small indigenous farmers in the rainforests of Costa Rica, made with ingredients you can actually pronounce. No artificial flavors. No fake colors. No junk. Just real chocolate, made the right way.
Here's what you and your junior chocolatier will make:
🍫 Chocolate Coins Two chocolate coins, a piping bag of creamy peanut butter or fluffy marshmallow fluff — squeeze, top, eat immediately. Pure joy.
🎨 Chocolate Bark Masterpiece Their own chocolate canvas, a full spread of toppings, total creative freedom. Every one unique. Every one delicious. Wrapped up and taken home as a sweet edible trophy of a summer afternoon well spent.
🥤 Cacao Brew Shake Triple Chocolate or Banana Blast, made with real Sassy Cow ice cream and Captain's own cacao brew straight from Costa Rica. Real ingredients. Ridiculously good.
This is our ONE kids event of the year. When these spots are gone, they're gone until 2027.
Sessions — July 21st:
- 🌞 Morning: 10:30am
- ☀️ Afternoon: 2:00pm
- 🌙 Evening: 6:00pm
Tickets:
- 🐣 Early Bird: $25/person (ends July 1st — placeholder, update date)
- Regular: $30/person
Who's Coming? Parent + child pairs, grandparent + grandchild pairs, and any grown-up who loves a kid enough to show up covered in chocolate. Solo kids ages 9 and up are warmly welcome.
What to Bring: An apron or an old shirt — things will get wonderfully messy.

- Children 8 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult
- All materials included
- Nut products are used at this event — contact us before registering with any allergy concerns
- Maximum 16 participants per session
